I've spent years not quite starting the Subaru conversion. Something has always held me back.. and there are various issues for me with this conversion.
- I'm not a Subaru guy.
- Finding the ideal Subaru with the right year (1999-2004) with good mileage that doesn't need a full rebuild becoming hard.
- The idea of having a donor at my house for a period od time doesn't really appeal.
I've always been intrigued by the Bostig. As a vendor they seem to be doing this very well.. it's just the wrong engine.. until.. they picked a better one.

Honda K24Z
Oh my. Yes please. I have 3 Honda motorcycles and until recently had a 2001 Honda Civic beater. I love all of them. Honda is ultimate manufacturer.
My 1995 Honda VT1100C Cruiser that I've had for 15 years has never given me an issue. It's a glorious motorcycle that is still in my life, even though I've since bought a Yamaha Royal Star (I want it out of here) and a Kawasaki Nomad (keeper!).
On top of that, KSeriesParts.com is just down the road here in Denver and I know the owner well. Youtube series possibility on the conversion?
At an estimated $8k for the kit and $15k for the build - I can live with that. Looking forward to this being a mature product by the time I cycle back to the Vanagon as my project obsession.
